1. You'll Think of Me- Keith Urban
This song is absolutely sweet and straight, no metaphores, no crying your heart out, nothing rude just plain old self realization of one's worth. Very good for guys whose girl did a "went for the bigger fish" stunt.
Lines to look out
Someday I'm gonna run across your mind
Don't worry, I'll be fine
I'm gonna be alright
While you're sleepin' with your pride
Wishin' I could hold you tight
I'll be over you
And on with my life.
2. Get Over You- Sophie Ellis Bextor
Like Urban's country piece, this dance piece from Bextor kicks your man (In Urban's case...woman) right up his hiney. However unlike Urban who somehow says it in a patient way, Bextor nailed her ass of a man down to the point!
Lines to look out
You think you've got your way
But baby there's a catch
Don't need your flower play
Now you have met your match
You think you're in control
But that won't last that long
You thought you wore the crown
Honey you were wrong
3. I'd Rather Dance With You- Kings Of Convenience
This has got to be one of my favorite musical team of all time. Good thing the Norwegian duo are a well kept secret from today's over populated music scene. This song just makes you wanna get up and dance!!! I'm serious!!! Great beat, crisp voices from the guys and a romantic lyric in a light hearted, silly but adorable way. I absolutely love it!!!
Lines to look out
Even if I could hear what you said
I doubt my reply would be interesting for you to hear
Because I haven't read a single book all year
And the only film I saw, I didn't like it at all
4. B.Y.O.B- System Of A Down
Acronym for the party term Bring Your Own Bottle...(as in beer or whatever beverage). But to the politically conscious Armenians, B.Y.O.B tells us about the party of lies, hypocrisy and the result of those deeds that caused the world as we know today as it is(re; the Iraq war) SO! People of the world! live the lies of your politician and bring your own bombs!!!

Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
5. Where Have All The Cowboys Gone- Paula Cole
A good reminder to girls who think that life is all peaches and roses. Here's a fact...IT ISN'T...What I love about this song is the transition of it. Here is a woman singing about how beautiful love is when it first starts, and then little by little it loose it's magic and pulls her straight into the reality of commitment.
Lines to look out
Where is my John Wayne?
Where is my prairie sun?
Where is my happy ending?
Where have all the Cowboys gone?
Where is my Marlboro Man?
Where is his shiny gun?
Where is my lonely ranger?
Where have all the cowboys gone?
6. Where Are You Going?- Dave Matthews Band
The upmost honest and humble expression of love can be found in this piece of blues by Dave Matthews and his band. The winning formula for this band has got to be their southern influence of jazz and blues combined with dave's mellow and lazy voice which leaves us mesmerized...deadly combo...
Lines to look out
I am no superman
I have no answers for you
I am no hero, oh that's for sure
But I do know one thing
Is where you are, is where I belong
I do know, where you go, is where I want to be
7. Sleeping Satellite- Tasmin Archer
I don't blame you guys if you haven't heard this one. In 1992 this very talented lady sang to us about the little things mankind neglect while in search for ways to expand his horizons. Good point there, look at our world today, for the price of advancement we made our home a filthy place to be in.
Lines to look out
Did we fly to the moon too soon
did we squander the chance
in the rush of the race
the reason we chase is lost in romance
and still we try
to justify the waste
for a taste of man's greatest adventure
8. By Your Side- Sade
Whenever i listen to this song...it always makes me cry. It's simple; just the undying love from one person to another. I'll let you in on this, I would love to hear this on my wedding day...it'll be beautiful...
YES PEOPLE I DO dream about it.
Lines to look out
You think I'd leave your side baby?
You know me better than that
Think I'd leave you down
When you're down on your knees?
I wouldn't do that
I'll tell you you're right when you're wrong
9. WHere The Wild Roses Grow- Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue
This was before Kylie squeezed herself into the little hot pants prancing around the club in her video 'Spinning Around'. In this piece, she was dark, and serious...just as any indie rocker would be. If you think Kylie is all about the booty well NO this woman CAN sing!!! and trust me listen to this and you will take her seriously! This innocence of her voice adds the chill for this number. The song itself sings the ultimate crime of passion. Dark and creepy...in short...Horrific...
Lines to look out
On the third day he took me to the river
He showed me the roses and we kissed
And the last thing I heard was a muttered word
As he knelt above me with a rock in his fist
10. The Outsider- A Perfect Circle
I would love to dedicate this song to all the people in the world who thinks fame and attention is the only thing worth living for and go all out to get it. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Anywayz... This has got to be one of their best songs ever along with Judith, 3 Libra's, and The Noose in my personal opinion. Maynard James Keenan has got to be one of the living musical genius in this age. For the record...like James Blunt, Maynard was also in the army before becoming a musician. I'm telling you military men are impressive.

Disconnect and self-destruct one bullet at a time
What's your hurry, everyone will have his day to die
If you choose to pull the trigger
Should your drama prove sincere
Do it somewhere far away from here
